My name is Becky and I’ve been competing in agility since 2010.  I started competing with my JRT Poppy and then my first Border Collie, Sixx.

It was with the arrival of Who that I began to take competition more seriously and he took us to Championship level, achieving many amazing things for us including a Reserve CC, Olympia (including making evening Finals on his first try!) and competing abroad in Holland with IFCS Team GB 🇬🇧 in 2018 where he finished with a top ten placing.

Who has since retired after picking up an injury during lockdown and now the focus is on his Brother, Baby and my young dog Squeezie.  Both boys are incredibly talented and after a few years out we are now back better than ever and excited about the future.

I’ve been teaching agility for around 8 years and my main focus is foundations, skills and mindset.  I love working with partnerships to bring out the very best in each team.

My group sessions are always kept as small as possible so that we can focus on each individual partnership.  I try to provide as much support to my students as possible.

My passion is running contacts and all three of my boys have running dog walks and A Frames.   There’s an incredible amount of skill involved in training RC’s, from balance, coordination and body awareness to independence and verbal skills.

AGILITY TRAINING

REGULAR GROUPS

I run weekly groups from a couple of venues.  My aim is always less people, more individual attention and I try to work with my students and plan my lessons around the skills they are lacking rather than a generic training plan.

ONE TO ONE

I offer occasional 1-1’s where I love really working on the holes people inevitably have in their training and aim to identify weaknesses and turn them into strengths!

WORKSHOPS

I travel to various venues around the country as a guest trainer and the focus is usually on contacts (stops and running) skills training and sequencing including weaves.  I also love helping people work on their handling and always aim to give my clients whatever knowledge I think can help them improve.
